Commander C-114AT
    Commander Aircraft Company, incorporated in 1988, acquired the Commander single-engine product line from Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation, which acquired Rockwell’s General Aviation Division in 1981.  Commander aircraft have a legendary design heritage. It's single-engine, high performance aircraft were designed by Rockwell International, which has designed such legendary aircraft as the P-51 Mustang, the F-100 Super Sabre, the B-1 Bomber and the Space Shuttle.
        An exciting new era for Commander aircraft was begun. From 1988 through mid-1992, Commander Aircraft Company designed, engineered and implemented a series of aerodynamic, avionic, and cabin improvements, resulting in the new Commander 114B, which received a new type certificate from the FAA in 1992.  The Commander 114B is solid honest airplane with a spacious cabin and luxurious appointments, made to appeal to the corporate world.
